Dividius
Balance, Division, The Space Between, Tuesday
“Yes and also no. Both, really. You'll be fine. You won't be fine. These are not contradictions.”
Dividius is the god of the Dichotomy itself. He does not take sides — he is both sides. He is depicted as a figure standing in a doorway, equidistant from both rooms, perpetually undecided whether he is arriving or departing.
He holds the Great Scale, which always balances. Not because both sides are equal in weight, but because Dividius adjusts his grip.
He answers exactly half of prayers. He considers this statistically generous.
